The average cost of the SoDu Shopping Basket remained remarkably steady this week, even as prices moved sharply at a few individual stores.
The 17-item basket averaged $67 across nine stores on Wednesday, Sept. 16. That’s down just 41 cents from last week’s average of $67.41 and only 60 cents higher than the $66.40 recorded two weeks ago.
Underneath that stable average, however, the rankings shifted.
