SoDu Price Check - Week of Sept. 30, 2026

Cheaper ground beef and apples pushed Aldi’s SoDu Shopping Basket below $50 this week, keeping it the least expensive option among the nine stores in the comparison.

Aldi’s 17-item total fell $2.90 to $49.15 in the Sept. 30 price check, a decrease of about 5.6%. The average across all nine stores dropped to $66.75, down about $1.20, or 1.8%, from last week’s $67.95.

Five stores posted lower basket totals, three increased, and one was unchanged. The stores kept the same positions in the rankings.
