APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Davey

Davey is a young, medium-sized energetic dog. The Animal Protection Society of Durham thinks dogs like Rosie can flourish with patient adopters who provide gentle guidance and build confidence.

Here’s his biological information, according to the APS of Durham:

When Davey first came to us, he was just a little pup. But after finding his way back here as a stray and no answer from his most recent owner, APS scooped him back up! While his journey hasn’t been ideal, Davey’s attitude has remained resilient. Sweet, playful, and enthusiastic, this young man is ready to lead you on the road less traveled for the rest of his days. Davey is the type of guy that will always be happy to see you at the end of a long day and will never say no to a sweet treat after dinner. He’s a true guys guy, and less of a dogs dog. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t get along with other canine companions, he just prefers humans. Come meet Davey, he’d love to take a walk with you!

Kids: 8+, jumpy/mouthy, object exchange.

Dogs: Dog selective, prefers gentle dogs.
