APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Giselle

APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Giselle

Giselle is a rather shy and sensitive dog that may be too timid for active homes with children. She’s listed as currently in foster care. Here are her details, provided by the Animal Protection Society of Durham:

Looking for a passenger princess? Giselle is your girl. She is a strong independent woman with a desire for long walks around the Eno and keeping watch for squirrels. Giselle is an excellent loose-leash walker, easily redirectable, and a great listener. While she’s not too keen on snuggling up, she won’t deny any belly rubs or peanut butter for that matter. Giselle has been at APS since Sept. 23 and at 2 years old is ready to find her forever home. We can promise cuteness and lots of personal space. Interested? Giselle is too!

Kids: 8+, independent.

Dogs: Playful, savvy, reactive when frustrated. May resource guard water or other items.
