APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Moe
Moe is a medium-sized adult male cocker spaniel mix. The Animal Protection Society of Durham thinks dogs like Moe can flourish with patient adopters who provide gentle guidance and build confidence.
Here’s his biological information, according to the APS of Durham:
Meet lil’ Moe. Handsome, sweet, goofy, and great with other dogs. Don’t let his worried face fool you, once he’s comfortable with his friends, his frown turns upside down! Chin scritches and head pats are his jam, and he’ll take those with a side of hot dogs please. Moe has become a lot braver than when he first arrived to APS, courageous and gentle, we know he’s looking for a soft place to land. Moe is a 2-year-old cocker spaniel mix who is weighing in at a whopping 24.4 pounds. He is currently heartworm positive, but at no cost to you, APS is able to provide treatment through a foster to adopt period. After treatment is over, he’s all yours! Moe would love to curl up in your lap on this sunny day, come say hi!
Kids: 10+, timid, independent, takes time to warm up
Dogs: Plays well with other dogs, worried at first but once comfortable, likes to play!
Heartworm positive – APS is currently offering no cost heartworm treatment through a foster to adopt period. Have questions? Email adopt@apsofdurham.org or call 919-560-0640.
