APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Diego

APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Diego

Diego is a big brown dog, maybe not ideal for a home with small children, available for adoption from the Animal Protection Society of Durham.

Here are his biographical details, provided by APS of Durham:

Diego is the perfect catch. Let us list some reasons for you.

  1. Potty trained – from what we can tell!
  2. Cuddle bug.
  3. Loves making friends with humans and furry friends.
  4. Happy as a clam next to his people.
  5. Polite and calm leash manners, you could take this guy anywhere!
  6. Doesn’t mind some alone time.
  7. Would love to be your shopping buddy at the pet store, as long as he gets to pick out a stuffy each time. Those are his favorites.

Diego has been overlooked here at the shelter as he’s just your average looking brown doggo (don’t tell him we said that). But give him some time to warm up and his calm and sweet personality will shine! He’s super affectionate once he’s comfortable and he’s looking for a gentle person to help build his confidence. Come meet Diego today!

Kids: 8+, dog-savvy kids, go slow.

Dogs: Forward sniffing, humps, easily overstimulated. May be playful once comfortable. Slow intros.
