I think I was in middle school when I read Richard Connell’s classic short story “The Most Dangerous Game” about a big-game hunter being pursued by a crazy rich guy who thinks humans make better trophies than animals. I can’t remember if it was the actual story or some comic book version of it, but I was fascinated. I love the concept of the hunter being hunted. This is probably why my favorite Star Trek episode is the one with Kirk being chased by that big lizard man. I dig the hunt.
