I started the new year by taking my teenage son and his pal to see Jack Black and Paul Rudd in Anaconda. This flick has now set the bar for stupid humor in 2026 for me. It’s not a comic masterpiece, but it gets the job done. It delivers some decent laughs and even a few surprises. I chuckled at the antics of these middle-aged movie nerds who go to South America to make a low-budget reboot of an old JLo movie about a giant killer snake.
