Recent recalls have been issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for products due to child safety hazards:

Skechers Bracelets

Fossil Group has recalled braided black bracelets in Skechers watch/bracelet gift sets due to high levels of lead and cadmium, which are toxic to children. About 260 units are affected. Consumers should stop using the bracelets, dispose of them, and request a refund where they were purchased. Sold at Skechers stores and online from August 2023 to January 2024 for around $45.

Anker EverFrost Coolers

Anker Innovations has recalled certain models of battery-powered coolers due to fire risks from overheating batteries. Approximately 5,640 units are included in the recall. Consumers should cease using the coolers and contact Anker for a free replacement battery pack. Sold at various stores and online from May to September 2023 for $250 to $950.

Magnetic Ball Sets

Getallfun has recalled 216-piece 5mm magnetic ball sets as they pose an ingestion hazard and don’t meet federal toy safety standards. About 1,140 sets are recalled. Stop using and contact Getallfun for a refund. Sold at Getallfun’s store in Illinois and online from May 2021 to October 2023 for $20.

Jool Baby Infant Swings

These have been recalled for suffocation risks as they were not designed according to federal safety regulations for infant sleep products. Approximately 63,100 units are affected. Immediately stop use for sleep and contact Jool Baby for a repair kit. Sold at various retailers from November 2022 to November 2023 for $150.

High-Powered Magnetic Ball Sets

Sold exclusively on Walmart.com, these sets have been recalled because they violate federal safety standards and pose ingestion and internal injury hazards. About 650 units are affected. Immediately cease use and contact Joybuy Marketplace Express for a refund. Sold online from August 2022 to April 2023 for about $14.

GT LaBomba Bicycles

Recalled due to a risk of fall and injury from faulty headtube/downtube welds. About 3,040 units are involved in the recall. Stop using and contact an authorized GT dealer for a replacement frame. Sold at bike stores from October 2018 to September 2023 for $400 to $1,450.

Yamaha PA-10 AC Power Adaptors

Recalled because of a risk of electrical shock and electrocution due to the potential for the cases to crack and separate. About 34,500 units are affected. Stop using and contact Yamaha for a replacement. Sold at various music stores and online from June 2021 to November 2023 for around $60.

Sleep Technologies Mattresses

The Eco Terra Hybrid Latex Mattresses have been recalled because they fail to meet federal flammability standards. About 84 units are recalled. Stop using and contact Sleep Technologies for a compliant mattress cover. Sold exclusively online in August 2022 for approximately $900.

TJX Children’s Pants Sets

The Tommy Bahama brand sets are recalled due to choking hazards from faux drawstring ends. Approximately 14,500 units are affected. Remove the drawstrings and contact TJX or return to Marshalls for a refund. Sold from December 2023 to February 2024 for $13-$15.

SINGES High Chairs and Booster Seats

Recalled due to multiple safety regulation violations posing a fall hazard. About 175 units are involved. Stop using and return to Walmart for a refund. Sold exclusively online from February 2020 to December 2021 for $75.

Bubble Bear Crib Mattresses

Recalled for failing to meet flammability and labeling requirements. Around 750 units are affected. Stop use, contact the manufacturer for a refund and instructions on disposal. Sold exclusively online from May to July 2022 for about $55.

Parents and caregivers should immediately comply with recall instructions to prevent potential harm to children.
