DPS Board Selects New Principal for Pearsontown Elementary

Pearsontown Elementary School now has a successor for departing principal Asia Cunningham.

Starting July 1, according to an announcement from Dr. Kimberly Ferrell, assistant superintendent for elementary schools, Dr. Lanisha Hinton takes over in Panda Nation.

Previously, Hinton was principal at Sandy Ridge Elementary School, "where she has built a reputation for fostering academic excellence, cultivating strong school-community partnerships, and creating supportive learning environments for students and staff," Ferrell wrote. "We are confident she will continue the strong tradition of excellence at Pearsontown while helping the school reach new heights."
