DPS Magnet Lottery Opens Jan. 6

The annual application lottery for Durham Public Schools will open Jan. 6, 2025, for magnet options that include Montessori programs, year-round schools, international baccalaureate programs, and dual-language immersion. It also opens for specialty schools, early college programming, and career and technical education (CTE) pathways.

Looking for Montessori pre-kindergarten? That also requires a lottery application, rather than the NC Pre-K application.

The lottery closes Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. Results are announced on March 3.
