DPS Offers Community Feedback Opportunities

As the selection process rolls forward for a new superintendent to guide Durham Public Schools, the district is providing families and students alike to share their perspectives in an online survey and during three community meetings.

The in-person meetings, planned for May 6-8, will offer interpretation services:

  • Monday, May 6 at 6 p.m. Old Northern High School. 117 Tom Wilkinson Rd. Register at this link.
  • Tuesday, May 7 at 6 p.m. at Hillside High School. 3727 Fayetteville Rd. Childcare available. Register at this link.
  • Wednesday, May 8, at 6 p.m. at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability. 800 Clayton Rd. Childcare available. Register at this link.

The district is working with Alma Advisory Group to lead the search for the district’s next leader. Candidate interviews are expected to start in June. Check out the leadership profile developed for the search.
