Durham Ending Week Under Freeze Watch

The National Weather Service announced that Durham is among the counties under a freeze watch that’ll be in effect from late Thursday night through Friday morning, with temperatures possibly as low as 28 degrees Fahrenheit.

Low temperatures could affect crops and damage outdoor plumbing. Bring in what plants you can to protect them from the cold.

Much colder air is moving into the area, the NWS reports, and areas of frost and freeze conditions could persist through Sunday.
