Durham Gets Only Garage Store in Triangle

Garage, a Canada-based women’s clothing store, opens this week at The Streets at Southpoint in South Durham.

The company has more than 100 locations across the United States, but the Southpoint shop currently will be the only Garage store in the Triangle. Garage is a subsidiary of Groupe Dynamite, which also owns and operates another woman’s clothing store called Dynamite.

The new store opens to the public on Friday, Aug. 2. A grand opening event with free gifts for customers will be held on Aug. 3.

Mall visitors can find Garage on the upper level of the Belk wing.
