The OUTSOUTH Queer Film Festival, which started in 1995 as “A Salute to Pride” and then ran from 1996 to 2019 as the North Carolina Gay + Lesbian Film Festival, is back Aug. 8-15 at The Carolina Theatre.
Considered the second largest LGBTQ+ film festival in the southeastern United States, it showcases a selection of shorts, documentaries, and feature films. Individual tickets are $15 excluding taxes and fees. The box office also offers a $120 10-pass (plus taxes and fees).

The bulk of the festival takes place between Aug. 8-11, Thursday through the weekend.
