A group of Jordan High School lacrosse parents is launching a new opportunity for younger players in Durham: a city-specific youth lacrosse team for third- through fifth-graders, set to compete this spring in the Orange County Rec Lacrosse League.

The team will join rec-level teams from Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Mebane for a March–April 2026 season, with Tuesday evening practices in Durham and Saturday morning games at rotating sites.
