🍎 Durham Public Schools Cafeteria Menu: Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2026

DPS students have no school Wednesday, and year-round campuses remain in intersession. What’s on cafeteria menus for schools in session Sept. 28-Oct. 2?

Durham Public Schools cafeterias have a split week ahead, with meals served Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Schools are closed Wednesday, Sept. 30, for a teacher workday.

Year-round schools remain in intersession through Thursday, Oct. 8, followed by a required teacher workday Friday, Oct. 9. Year-round students return Monday, Oct. 12.

For students attending school this week, cafeteria choices include turkey nachos, chicken drumsticks, Asian noodle bowls, pizza, quesadillas, and chicken Philly sandwiches. Breakfast and lunch remain free for all DPS students.

  • Students: Breakfast and lunch are free for all students.
  • Adult breakfast: $2.50
  • Adult lunch: $4.50
  • Milk: 50 cents
  • (V): Meatless entrée
  • Menus are subject to change.

DPS prepares food in commercial kitchens where cross-contact with allergens is possible. Ingredients may also change because of substitutions, recipe revisions, or manufacturer updates. The district cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely free of allergens.
