Durham Public Schools Delayed 2 Hours on Wednesday

Don’t be in too much of a hurry to take to South Durham’s roads on Wednesday morning, with temperatures dipping down into the teens: Our public school students are operating on a two-hour delay.

For the second time in as many weeks, weather is prompting Durham Public Schools to postpone the start of the school day – this time because officials are worried about black ice, low temperatures, and wind chill.

It’s not expected to warm up much later in the day, however.
