Union rights, cloning ethics, occasional heresy, and a jubilant robot dance party marked the final show of Giant Robot Fight Club's July run at Mettlesome's theater at Golden Belt near downtown Durham on Sunday.

The next show - The Big Bot Battle Royale - is scheduled for Aug. 8 at Motorco Music Hall at 8 p.m. As of this morning, ringside tickets are sold out, but general admission tickets remain.

And the robot ringleader, HotDog Henly, said the show may return to Mettlesome in August for more rampaging mechanical mayhem.
