Githens Middle Students' Art Showcased at Southpoint
The Durham Public Schools Spring Art Show
features secondary student artwork until May 4
at The Streets at Southpoint. Elementary work

Drifting jellyfish and colorful mosaic images are among the artwork by Githens Middle School students on display at the Streets at Southpoint shopping mall.

The work, produced by students in Lisa Turco’s visual arts class, can be found in a Durham Public Schools display in the corridor outside JC Penney at the mall. It’s part of the DPS Spring Art Show, with secondary schools featured until May 4, while elementary schools go on display from May 5-18.
