Hope Valley PTA Plans for Appreciation Week

Hope Valley Elementary School celebrates teachers and staff the week of May 6-10, and the PTA has set aside Boosterthon funds for a catered breakfast and other events. But the PTA also seeks volunteers and donations to help with these activities.

Appreciation opportunities include:

• Catered lunch from Chick-fil-A.
• Candy buffet and swag bag station in the teachers’ lounge.
• Breakfast and coffee.
• Popcorn buffet station.
• $10 gift cards.

They’ll take donations April 22-26. Here’s how families can participate:

• Write and send a “thank you” note or fan mail to a classroom teacher, specials teachers, and/or HVE staff.
• Visit the school on May 5, 3 to 5 p.m., to help decorate the sidewalks. Supplies will be provided.
• Donate a $10 gift card from a big box store, grocery store, or Amazon during drop-off. The goal: 120 gift cards.
