This week, the Durham community reflects on the lives of many residents who have recently passed. This week’s list includes educators, spiritual leaders, beloved elders, and young people whose loss leaves a deep imprint. Services are scheduled across local churches including Mt. Calvary, Antioch Baptist, Beacon Light, and many more. From centenarians like Tynette Wilson Hills to the young lives of Alexander Birdsong and Nakyra Curtis, we honor each name and story as a reminder of the community’s shared strength in remembrance.
