[In Memoriam] Robin Allison Roberts, 58

Robin Allison Roberts passed away on Wednesday, May 29, at her home. She was 58.

She was born in Durham County, North Carolina, to the late Edward Anderson Roberts and Nancy Mae Allison Roberts. In addition to her parents, Roberts is predeceased by her grandparents, Charles Luther Roberts and Eunice Roberts, Roy Coleman Allison Sr. and Elizabeth Allison; aunts, Sue Terry and Anne Connolly; uncles, Roy Coleman Allison Jr., Ormand Allison, and Warren Roberts.

Roberts graduated from Northern High School in 1985. She worked at The Herald-Sun from 1991 to 2002 and continued working in sales until her passing. She later became a home care worker. Roberts loved animals, cooking, and visiting the beach. She also attended Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Roberts is survived by her sister, Rhonda Roberts Clark (Frank); brother, Christopher Edward Roberts; nieces, Amanda Ramirez (Carlos), and Nicole Elizabeth Clark; great-nephews, Blake Anderson Ramirez and Luke Carter Ramirez; aunts, Juanita Allison, Betty Lou Porterfield, Linda Knight, and Jeanette Wagoner; and uncles, Earl Allison and Charles “Winkie” Roberts.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, at Little River Presbyterian Church with Rev. Chuck Link officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
