Looking for A Youth Sport? Try the SoDu We Play Guide
Search 41 South Durham-area programs, from ballet and fencing to swimming, soccer, hockey, and more.

South Durham families have plenty of places to play. The trouble is finding them all.
That’s why Southpoint Access created The SoDu We Play Guide, a searchable directory of youth sports and recreation programs serving local families.
The guide currently includes 41 options covering ballet, fencing, swimming, soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, martial arts, gymnastics, golf, climbing, adaptive sports, and plenty more.

You can filter the directory by:
- Category
- Activity
- Age
- Season
- Program type
Each entry includes the program’s age range, location, season, estimated cost, time commitment, availability, and a link for registration or additional details.
Looking for a summer swim team? The guide includes the Parkwood Piranhas, Hollow Rock/Stoneridge Piranhas, and Woodcroft Whirlwinds. Looking for something less traditional? You’ll find fencing, aerial arts, climbing, figure skating, archery, and other possibilities, too.

Program schedules, prices, and registration windows can change, so confirm the latest information with the organizer before signing up.
And this guide is still growing. If we missed a league, club, studio, or recreation program, use the Gmail button on the guide or email wes.platt@southpointaccess.news. Send the organization’s name, activity, ages served, and registration link.
