Miami Boulevard Driver License Office Closed Over Bedbugs

Miami Boulevard Driver License Office Closed Over Bedbugs

The driver license office at 101 S. Miami Blvd. is closed temporarily due to a bedbug infestation. The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles on Friday announced the office is currently scheduled to open for business again on July 13.

"Customers with appointments at the East Durham office are being contacted and offered the opportunity to reschedule their appointments for the date, time, and location of their choice," according to a DMV news release. "Examiners from the East Durham office will be temporarily reassigned to other nearby offices to accommodate additional customers during the closure."

Three other driver license offices provide services Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

  • Durham: 3825 S. Roxboro St., Ste. 119 (The Shoppes of Hope Valley)
  • Carrboro: 100 N.C. Hwy. 54, Ste. 104JJ (Carrboro Plaza)
  • Hillsborough: 1201 U.S. Hwy. 70 West

Customers are encouraged to check current wait times at VisitDMV.nc.gov​ before visiting an office.
