New Hope Valley Development Underway in Durham

Wondering where those trees went on the east side of Hope Valley Road near Dover Road?
“Covering the last untouched land in historic Hope Valley,” according to the development website, it’s Oldfourth, a neighborhood consisting of 40 lots with 1,200 feet of frontage along the Donald Ross-designed golf course. The developer is Oldfourth LLC and the registered agent is Bryson Powell.
The single-family homes and cottages aren’t exactly what would be considered affordable housing: they start at $1.5 million. The website indicates the homes will be complete in 2025.
