Page Road Project, Rockwood Affordability Plan Head to Durham City Council

One decision would permit as many as 35 new homes along Page Road. Another would forgive part of a decades-old city loan to help preserve 20 affordable apartments for seniors in ZIP code 27707.

Those are the two items with the clearest connection to South Durham residents when the Durham City Council meets Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza. The full agenda and supporting documents are available online.

Council members also will consider endorsing a new violence-reduction framework, awarding two major water and sewer contracts, accepting the final Reimagine Durham Freeway report, and deciding four annexation cases.
