Parkwood’s signature autumn get-together returns Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, to the neighborhood ballfield. Organizers bill it as “fun for the whole family,” with a mix of food, kid-friendly activities, and a neighborhood maker market.

Expect a food truck lineup led by El Jefecito (Rolling Tacos), plus kid crafts and lawn games spread around the outfield. A local vendor & craft fair will showcase South Durham makers and community groups. Participants include Perkins Orchard, Parktown Food Hub, Soccer Shots, and South Durham Little League, with additional vendors to be announced.

The festival is an easy walk or bike ride for many Parkwood residents and a short drive from Southpoint, NC-54, and RTP - making it a low-stress option for families looking to spend a fall afternoon close to home. Bring water and sunscreen; November sun can still be bright on the field.
