[SoDu Alert] Weather Concerns Cause Early Durham Afterschool Program Closures

Durham Public Schools will end afterschool programs at 4 p.m. today ahead of the expected arrival of inclement winter weather. This affects year-round schools like Hope Valley and Pearsontown elementary schools. Traditional-calendar schools are off today anyway.

The district is continuing to monitor weather forecasts as administrators consider how it could affect tomorrow's school operations.
