Southpoint Access counted 89 property and financial incident reports in its coverage area from Oct. 16-22. The reports were tied to 76 address blocks.

That was 25 fewer reports than the 114 counted for Oct. 9-15. Vehicle-related theft remained the largest category, with 34 reports, followed by 19 shoplifting reports. Fraud and financial crimes rose from four reports to eight, making it the only category that increased from the previous roundup.

The week-over-week difference shouldn't be read as proof that crime fell by the same amount. Reports can take several days to appear in the Police-to-Citizen portal, and they can be added or reclassified later.

The roundup also includes arrest entries naming four people whose charges met our serious-charge screen. Those arrest entries are listed separately and aren't included in the 89-report total.
