The Oct. 2-8 roundup includes 105 selected property and financial reports and arrest entries naming three people under our serious-charge screen. Which reports were closest to you?

Southpoint Access counted 105 property and financial incident reports in its coverage area from Oct. 2-8. The reports were tied to 87 address blocks.
That was 31 more reports than the 74 counted for Sept. 25-Oct. 1. Vehicle-related theft remained the largest category, with 35 reports, followed by 22 shoplifting reports.
The roundup also includes arrest entries naming three people whose charges met our serious-charge screen. Those arrest entries are listed separately and are not included in the 105-report total.
