Public service and campus employers account for most of the jobs added to Southpoint Access’s SoDu We Work guide this week, with openings in social services, office administration, technology, education, and maintenance.

The Oct. 9 update includes 191 listings, with 44 additions. Durham’s city and county governments, North Carolina Central University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Durham Public Schools account for 35 of those additions, about 80%.

For job seekers, that means opportunities to help families, support students, maintain computer networks, and keep public facilities running. Six additions are in South Durham, including clinical work on Crooked Creek Parkway, wastewater operations on Farrington Road, and positions at The Streets at Southpoint.
