In the 27713 zip code, median home prices reached about $438,000 – up 4.2% compared to the same time in 2022, according to Redfin.com.

The market is listed as somewhat competitive. Average homes sell near list price and go pending in about 39 days, the site reported. Nearly 31% of homes sell above list price.

Realtor.com gave more conservative data, reporting a median house sale price of about $428,000. That site describes 27713 as a seller’s market.

The 27707 zip code also qualified as somewhat competitive, but Redfin indicated that the median sales price – although up 9% over the previous years – was $425,000. The average home sells about 1% below list price and goes pending in about 56 days.

On Realtor.com, the median house sale price is reported at $427,500 – closer to 27713 than Redfin’s estimate.

Redfin indicates that wind and heat are the greatest threats when it comes to risk factors in these areas.
