South Durham Kicking Off Summer Reading Adventure

Read at least two books before July 27 and you could win a dice tower in the South Regional Library’s Roll Your Own Reading Adventure event. It all kicks off on June 8.

Get a reading tracker from the library, roll dice three times, and determine your challenge. Read the books and return the tracker to the library by Aug. 3 to enter a raffle for the dice tower.

“It’s a game of chance, we know, but the rewards of reading are well worth the price,” according to a library news release.

Trackers are available at the South Regional Library, where readers also can roll dice. The printable PDF is available by request. Rolling dice at home? You’ll need a D6 and a D20. Use the key in the tracker to determine what you’ll read. Finish as many trackers as you like because entries are unlimited.

On Monday, Aug. 5, prizes for first, second, and third prize will be drawn.
