A new initiative aimed at giving Durham Public Schools educators and support staff a well-earned night out is now seeking community investment to help it grow.
Matt Sears, chief connector at RootEd in DPS, says the Tickets for Teachers program already has shown strong momentum since launching last month. The effort allows community members to donate unused event tickets directly to DPS teachers, bus drivers, and support staff.
