Recommended community foundations include:
O’Keefe also listed some other organizations for consideration:
- Samaritan’s Purse.
- United Way of North Carolina.
- American Red Cross – NC Chapter.
- Mutual Aid Disaster Relief.
Blue Ridge Public Radio has reported multiple fatalities from floods and landslides. On Monday, the station reported that T-Mobile is bringing SatCOLT (satellite cell on light trucks) into the Asheville area to provide cellular voice and data, as well as wi-fi.
