Welcome to OtherSpace MUSH

Most days, Southpoint Access explores what’s happening around our neighborhoods. This guide takes us considerably farther from home.

Welcome to OtherSpace, the science-fiction universe I created and a place where players help shape the story through their characters’ words, actions, and choices. Like Dispatches Received in Error, it’s part of the creative side of Southpoint Access. Here, you’re invited to join the storytelling yourself.

You might play a freighter pilot looking for a crew, an alien mechanic trying to keep a battered ship flying, or a journalist asking questions that powerful people would rather leave unanswered. You’ll write what your character says and does, respond to other players, and discover where those encounters lead.

This guide introduces the setting, its people, and the basics of play. You don’t need experience with online roleplaying or an encyclopedic knowledge of science fiction. Bring your curiosity, a willingness to collaborate, and an idea for someone you’d like to become. You’re also welcome to follow the adventures and watch how it works before jumping in.
