One thing I love about Southpoint Access is turning your support into real, local impact. If you’re a paying member, you can choose a nonprofit you care about and I’ll promote it in the newsletter (and with banner ads for certain tiers).

What to Send Me

Just reply with:

1. Nonprofit name & website
2. One-sentence mission
3. Contact person/email (optional)
4. Timing notes (e.g., “please feature in March for our 5K”)

• I prioritize nonprofits serving Durham/South Durham and the Triangle.
• If multiple members pick the same nonprofit, I’ll stack or extend placements when I can.
• Editorial discretion: Southpoint Access reserves the right to decline nonprofits deemed unaligned with our journalistic mission.

Southpoint Access: Supporting Hope Valley Elementary PTA

South Durham neighbors: help fund local news and local classrooms.

From now through Dec. 31, 2025, Southpoint Access will share a portion of every revenue stream with the Hope Valley Elementary PTA (HVE PTA):

• 20% of subscriptions (after standard processing fees)
• 10% of donations (after fees)
• 10% of sponsorships (net of documented hard costs)
