Budget questions for the 2026-27 academic year aren't totally resolved yet.

On Thursday, June 25, the Durham Public Schools Board of Education takes up agenda items at its monthly meeting that include a possible classified pay adjustment and a new substitute teacher pay structure.

The board meets at 6:30 p.m. at the DPS Central Services building at 511 Cleveland St. Meetings are shown live on YouTube for those who can't attend in person.

District administrators are considering potential classified salary compensation changes that would depend on the (so far unrealized) North Carolina General Assembly budget framework coming together.
