Durham Fire Department Offers Camp for Girls

Got a daughter interested in life as a professional firefighter? The Durham Fire Department this summer is introducing an all-girls Junior Fire Marshal Camp called Bull City Blazers.

The camp, running July 17-19, is open to girls ages 13-16. They’ll get a hands-on introduction to life in the fire service.

The camp is free, but spaces are limited. Email elaine.towner@durhamnc.gov to sign up.
