🍎 Durham Public Schools Cafeteria Menu: Nov. 2-6

Durham Public Schools cafeterias start November with two days of schedule changes followed by three days of regular districtwide meal service. Student breakfast and lunch are free.

Traditional-calendar schools have a teacher workday Monday, Nov. 2. The elementary, middle school, and K-8 menu sheets still list meals for schools operating that day. High schools are closed. All DPS schools are closed Tuesday, Nov. 3, for a teacher workday and Election Day.

Schedule note: Monday's elementary and middle school selections apply only at schools that are in session. No meals are served Tuesday.

K-8 Breakfast

Breakfast includes low-fat or fat-free milk, fresh fruit, and 100% fruit juice. Daily alternatives include whole-grain cereal, cereal bars, doughnuts, Pop-Tarts, muffins, and Wowbutter sandwiches. Fruit and yogurt parfaits with granola are available Tuesday through Thursday when school is in session.

Elementary School Lunch

Lunch includes low-fat or fat-free milk, fresh fruit, and 100% fruit juice. Assorted pizza and Wowbutter and jelly sandwiches are available daily.

Meal Prices and Menu Notes

  • Breakfast and lunch are free for all DPS students.
  • Adult breakfast costs $2.50.
  • Adult lunch costs $4.50.
  • Milk costs 50 cents when purchased separately.
  • (V) indicates a meatless option.
  • Menus may change without notice because of product availability.
