Five days left: Help Southpoint Access finish strong
We’re 32 neighbors and $1,210.54 away from our goals, with five days left.
We’re in the final stretch!
The 100 Neighbors for Local News campaign ends Sept. 22, my birthday. So far, 68 neighbors have contributed $3,789.46 to support independent journalism in South Durham.
That puts us:
- At 68% of our 100-neighbor goal
- At 75.8% of our $5,000 fundraising goal
- Just $1,210.54 away from the finish line
Here’s another way to look at it: If 32 more neighbors each contribute about $38, we’ll reach both goals.
Money raised through this campaign will help Southpoint Access pay freelance reporters, cover public records and research expenses, and produce more original reporting about South Durham’s schools, local government, development, businesses, public safety, events, and neighbors.
If you’ve been thinking about contributing, this is the moment. Gifts of $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you will help us finish strong.
