Help Us Remember the Pets Who Made Our Lives Better

Hey, neighbors,

You remember the little things: The sound of their paws crossing the floor. The ridiculous sleeping position. The toy they carried everywhere. The way they knew you needed them before you did.

Those details become precious after a beloved pet dies. They’re also the stories we want to preserve through Huck’s Heavenly Hangout, the Southpoint Access pet remembrance section named for my own big, fluffy goofball, Huckleberry.

If your family has lost a dog, cat, bird, rabbit, reptile, fish, horse, or any other cherished companion, I hope you’ll consider sharing their story with me. The loss doesn’t have to be recent. Old friends are welcome, too.

Your remembrance can be short and simple. Tell us your pet’s name, share a favorite memory or funny habit, and send us a photo. I’ll lightly edit submissions for clarity while preserving your voice and the spirit of your story.

There’s no required fee to publish a remembrance: Share your pet’s story

You can also read the Huck’s Heavenly Hangout FAQ or visit our collection of pet remembrances.

Because pets are family. Their stories deserve a place to live.

Best,
