New Southpoint Access guide makes Durham school inspection records easier to search
The first review found A grades across all 106 cafeteria records, while 20 of the 119 school-building records had scores below 90.

Every cafeteria record in Southpoint Access’ first collection of Durham school inspection data carries an A grade.
The school-building side of the database presents a more mixed picture. Twenty of the 119 latest available facility records have scores below 90, including two below 80.
Those findings come from the new Southpoint Access Durham School Facility Guide, which brings together 225 records from the North Carolina environmental health inspection database.
The guide covers Durham County school buildings, public and private school lunchrooms, and educational food-service operations, including facilities at Duke University and N.C. Central University.
Readers can search by school, address, ZIP code, or inspection finding. They also can filter records by category and score, sort the results, and open the full state inspection report for each location.
