New: The SoDu We Support Farmers Markets Guide
Fresh produce. Local eggs. Flowers. Baked goods. Meat. Seafood. Crafts. Prepared foods. Maybe a tomato that actually tastes like a tomato.

Southpoint Access has launched the SoDu We Support Farmers Markets Guide, a new reader resource for finding farmers markets across South Durham, RTP, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Apex, Morrisville, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, and beyond.
The guide is designed to help you answer a few simple questions before you head out:
- Which farmers markets are closest to South Durham?
- Which ones are open year-round?
- Which markets are open on weekdays?
- Which ones accept SNAP/EBT or offer Double Bucks?
- What kinds of vendors and products can shoppers expect?
You can search the guide by market name, city, day, product, or benefit. You can also filter by region, SNAP/EBT, Double Bucks, and year-round schedules.
This is a living guide, which means I’ll keep improving it. Farmers market hours can change by season, weather, holidays, and vendor availability, so please confirm with the market before making a special trip.
And if you manage a market, sell at one, shop at one regularly, or spot something that needs updating, I’d love your help.
Send corrections, additions, benefit details, parking notes, pet policies, vendor information, or sponsorship inquiries to: wes.platt@southpointaccess.news
The goal is simple: help South Durham readers shop local, support regional farmers and food makers, and discover more of what the Triangle has to offer.

Thanks for supporting Southpoint Access - and thanks for supporting local farmers markets.
