OPA! Greek Festival Returns to South Durham This Weekend
The popular event at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church - running May 16-17 - includes Greek cuisine, dancing, and marketplace vendors.

Hungry for gyro? Pastitsio? Maybe you're in the mood for baklava. Come ready to eat and enjoy Greek culture during the annual Greek Festival at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church this weekend.
Admission is free to this rain-or-shine celebration of food, music, dance, and community.
Besides youth dancers and tours of the church's Byzantine-style domed sanctuary and iconography, visitors can sample Greek wines and beer at the Taverna, shop in the Marketplace, and look for bargains in the Attic Treasures shop.
A portion of proceeds benefit Ukraine and local charities. The event runs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday (May 16) and Sunday (May 17). The church is at 8306 N.C. Hwy. 751.
Enjoy the Greek Festival and get a discount on a Southpoint Access subscription for six months. Offer good until Monday, May 18.
