Good morning, South Durham!
It's Saturday, Oct. 24, and we've got another busy week of neighborhood news to catch up on.
Durham City Council members pressed housing officials about thousands of outstanding maintenance requests. Parents have an opportunity to weigh in on school improvement plans. And on Sunday, about 1,000 runners will take to the roads and trails around Southpoint to support ALS research.
We've also got development updates, some interesting changes in grocery prices, and a few ideas for enjoying the weekend.
Let's get into it.
