Carolina Theatre Stars Ready to Dance

Some local luminaries plan to face the music and dance their way into the hearts of the judges – and the audience – at Dancing with the Carolina Stars, a fundraising event for Carolina Theatre set for May 21.

Participants include:

• Farad Ali: Co-founder of ALI HEIJMEN and Principal at Point B.
• Rory Gillis: President of Triangle Digital Partners and co-owner of Triangle Media Partners.
• Jason Peace: Executive director of Meals on Wheels of Durham.
• Pilar Rocha Goldberg: President and CEO of El Centro Hispano.
• Linda Shropshire: Founder of Ella West Gallery.

They’ll pair with professional dancers to perform and get commentary from judges Adam Dickinson, Rissi Palmer, and Stormie Daie. The event includes a live auction, a welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres by Chef Paris, and an after-party with live music.
