SoDu Price Check - Week of Oct. 28, 2026

Fresh Market’s 17-item basket fell $10.26 this week, the biggest decline in our nine-store comparison. Aldi kept the lowest total at $45.46, with every one of its tracked prices unchanged from Oct. 21.

The average basket fell $1.29 to $65.68, a decline of 1.9%. Four stores posted lower totals, four held steady, and Publix was the only store whose basket increased.

The rankings stayed the same, although the gap between second-place Walmart and third-place Food Lion narrowed considerably.
