We are going to finish our very succinct tour of American wine with our great state of North Carolina. Greatness is no misnomer, as there are seven American Viticultural Areas (AVA) within the state. 

These specific geologic or climatic differences from the surrounding areas give the wine in question a unique perspective. And it’s here that great wines are changing the perception of wine in North Carolina.
